About The Museum
The Anamorphic Art Museum has been a long-held dream of Shereen Miller, a vision she nurtured for the past decade. After spending 55 years living abroad across four continents and residing in America for 34 of those years, Shereen felt a deep desire to bring her artwork back to her homeland, India, and create something truly unique- a museum dedicated to Anamorphic Art.
Her journey as an artist has been shaped by a global perspective, blending her experiences from different cultures and regions. However, despite her years away from home, she always felt a pull to return to India and contribute to its artistic landscape. Establishing this museum became a way for Shereen to merge her innovative approach to art with her roots, creating a space that reflects both her personal journey and her professional accomplishments.

The decision to open the Museum in India held great significance for Shereen. By bringing Anamorphic Art to her home country, she’s introducing a new dimension of visual experience to Indian audiences. This fusion of modern, interactive art with India’s rich artistic traditions symbolizes Shereen’s creative legacy.
The Miller Museum of Anamorphic Art not only her innovative work with optical illusions but also her mastery of three major Fine Art traditions: Sculpture, Painting and drawing. Throughout her career, Shereen has skillfully worked within these disciplines, blending both Realistic and Abstract genres. The Museum, therefore, is not just a celebration of Anamorphic Art but also a comprehensive display of her wide ranging artistic talents.
By working in these major traditions and within both Realistic and Abstract genres, The Museum offers a rich and diverse exploration of visual art. Shereen’s ability to move fluidly between different styles and mediums is reflected in the museum’s collection, where visitors can experience the evolution of her artistic journey. Each piece, whether a Sculpture, Painting or Drawing, showcases her deep understanding of form, perspective, and the visual manipulation that defines her anamorphic style.
This combination of Fine Art traditions with innovative techniques ensures that the Museum stands as a testament to Shereen’s versatility, appealing to a wide range of artistic tastes and inviting viewers to experience the world through her unique lens.
Tragically, in 2023, Shereen Miller passed away [82 years] just one month before she could witness the completion of her dream: Her untimely death was a devastating blow to her daughter Cheryl Anita Miller. While the loss was overwhelming, Cheryl knew that her mother’s vision had to be realized.
Through Cheryl’s determination, Shereen’s legacy lives on, in a space dedicated to her innovative approach to art and the profound visual experiences she created for the world. The museum stands as a lasting tribute, not just to Shereen’s remarkable artistic contributions, but to the love, dedication, and perseverance of her daughter who ensured her mother’s dream became a reality. Through the museum, Shereen’s spirit continues to inspire and connect people from all walks of life, bridging the worlds of art, culture and perspective just as she had always envisioned.
