Museum Policies & Terms of Entry

Welcome to the Miller Museum of Anamorphic Art, the world’s first museum dedicated to anamorphic art.
We are committed to creating a safe, inspiring, and respectful environment for all visitors.
By purchasing a ticket, entering the premises, or booking a private event, you agree to the following museum policies and terms.

Tickets & Admission

  • Tickets may be purchased at the museum on the day of your visit.
  • Each ticket is valid for single entry only; once you exit, re-entry is not permitted.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, and void if altered, copied, or resold.
  • Tickets may only be used on the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • The museum reserves the right to refuse admission or remove visitors who fail to comply with museum policies.
  • Refunds may be provided only in the event of a full-day museum closure due to unforeseen circumstances.

Visitor Guidelines
To preserve the art and ensure a peaceful experience for all guests:

  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Running, climbing, or loud behavior is not permitted.
  • Large bags, backpacks, and suitcases are not allowed inside the galleries.
  • The museum is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
  • Food, beverages, and chewing gum are not allowed inside the gallery.
  • Please do not touch artworks, displays, or frames.
  • Maintain a respectful distance from all exhibits.
  • Personal photography (without flash) is permitted in designated areas.
  • Flash, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not permitted.
  • Professional photography, filming, or media coverage requires prior written consent from museum management.
  • Please silence mobile phones and maintain a quiet atmosphere.
  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere on museum grounds.
  • In case of emergency, follow instructions from museum staff.

Legacy Lounge & Garden Terrace
Relax in the Legacy Lounge or Garden Terrace, where art and nature meet.
Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee as you unwind after your visit.
Please keep all food and beverages within designated lounge or garden areas.

Visitors with accessibility requirements are encouraged to speak with a staff member for assistance.
Our facilities comply with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, ensuring comfort and access for all.

Venue Rentals & Private Events
The museum offers exclusive venue rentals for cultural events, workshops, photoshoots, and private gatherings.

Rental Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking.
  • Full payment must be made by the deadline stated in the rental agreement.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Cancellations within [30 days] of the event: [30]% of the total rental fee is retained.
  • Cancellations within [14 days]: no refund is issued.
  • If the museum cancels due to unforeseen circumstances (safety, emergencies, or government restrictions), clients may reschedule or receive a refund of rental fees (excluding external vendor costs).
  • Clients are responsible for the behavior of guests, vendors, and contractors, and for any damages to museum property.
  • Proof of event insurance may be required.
  • For events involving catering, alcohol, or live performance, the client must obtain necessary permits or licenses under Karnataka law (including Excise and Noise Pollution regulations).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Tickets

  • All ticket sales are final.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No refunds are offered for late arrivals or missed visits.
  • In case of full-day closure, the museum may offer a rescheduled visit or credit voucher.

Venue Rentals

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations within [30 days]: [30]% retained.
  • Cancellations within [14 days]: no refund.
  • Refunds apply only if the museum cancels due to unavoidable circumstances.


Privacy Policy
The museum values your privacy and complies with the Information Technology Act (2000), IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules (2011), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (2023).

We may collect personal data such as name, contact details, and payment information when you:

Liability & Safety Disclaimer

  • Visitors enter the museum at their own risk.
  • The museum shall not be liable for injuries, accidents, illness, or property damage occurring on its premises, except as required by law.
  • In emergencies, visitors must follow staff instructions.
  • Any damage to museum property by visitors, guests, or vendors will result in financial responsibility.
  • The museum maintains Public Liability Insurance in accordance with the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991, to ensure protection for visitors and staff.

Legal Jurisdiction

All policies of the Miller Museum of Anamorphic Art are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India and the State of Karnataka.
Any disputes or claims arising hereunder shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
